On the concluding day of Pravasi Parichay 2025, an enthralling musical drama- “Gita Mahotsav-A Musical” was hosted today by the Embassy of India in Riyadh. The event commenced with a congratulatory video message from Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs Shri Kirti Vardhan Singh.
 
2. Tonight’s special presentation was performed by the talented female students of Vaidehi Nritha Vidyalayam, Riyadh, brought alive the timeless message of the Bhagavad Gita through the universal language of music and dance.

Speaking on this occasion, Ambassador of India Dr Suhel Ajaz Khan said that Gita Mahotsav organised by the Embassy is an endeavor to highlight the deep cultural and spiritual bonds that connect the Indian diaspora with India’s civilizational heritage, and to inspire reflection on the message of harmony, duty, and selfless action that the Gita embodies. He also said that the celebration in Riyadh also resonates with the spirit of the ‘International Gita Mahotsav’, to be held later this month in Kurukshetra, Haryana. The event was graced by Smt Pratibha Prahlad, Padma Shri and Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee.
 
4. The Pravasi Parichay series, under which this event is being held, is an initiative of the Embassy launched in 2023, to showcase the vibrant cultural traditions of India through the participation of the Indian community in the Kingdom. “Gita Mahotsav – A Musical” reflects this vision by bringing together art, devotion, and philosophy in a form that appeals to audiences of all ages.
